Traveling is something on many people’s minds right now with covid restrictions easing around the world.
Before the lockdown, airports were thriving, however, during this time and with international travel coming to a halt, it was getting a bit too quiet.
Fortunately, things are looking up now and families are once again packing their bags to go abroad – often for the first time in over two years.

And now, with the end of travel restrictions in many popular tourist destinations – including the UK – people have turned to sites such as Skyscanner to find the best deals for last-minute trips.
For this reason we went online to see where we could fly from Glasgow and to our surprise there are some great deals.
So if you are looking for a bargain and need a break from the not so sunny weather here in Scotland you can now book a flight to Poland from Glasgow Airport and it will be yours cheaper than booking a train to Edinburgh.
According to Skyscanner, which finds the best deals in the market, a flight from the city costs just £27 when flying with Ryanair.

If interested, holidaymakers can travel on a 2.5-hour flight from Glasgow International Airport to Warsaw Modlin Airport – however, there is a stop in Dublin en route.
This compares to a return trip from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverly for £36.40.
Other cheap flights perfect for a last-minute getaway, according to Kayak, are a flight from Glasgow to Malaga for just £15 with Ryanair as well as a flight to Dublin for just £21.
Other popular tourist destinations this year appear to be Italy and Spain – all of which are cheap and in addition to these bargains, Skyscanner has found a flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Faro in Portugal for just £41.
To add a few to the list, a flight with Jet2 and Ryanair will cost passengers just £63 each way to sunny Palma, while direct flights to Barcelona currently cost just £39.
So rather than staying at home, why not venture somewhere new – we know where we’d rather be!
